Font Personality

    Fonts Have Personality's Too!
     My font to match my personality is called Cooper Black Italics. The test that I  took showed me these results that I was emotional, assertive, progressive, and relaxed. I am very emotional I get really stressed out very easily. Plus I want everything to be my best work and nothing less. I am very assertive  I will stand up for any one of my friends and I am not afraid to speak my mind. I am very progressive because I like to think to the future. I am very relaxed because I like to live in the moment and realize that everything will get finished.

Orthogonal Cube

  In illustrator we made orthogonal cubes. We watched a tutorial on Lynda.com to figure out how to make all of the sides equal. We had to copy and paste the three main lines and copied them several times to finish off the cube. Then we added color to the cube to give it depth/perception. The darker colors make it look farther behind and the lighter shades make it come forward. Then i rounded the edges of the cube so that way it did not have weird tails that lost the flow of the eye making it look 3D.  This was a challenge for me because there was so many steps to do to make it look accurate. However the end result was with it, because it looked really awesome and it's cool to say that I made this from scratch.

Photoshop Mask Video

In web we decided to explore the animation side of photoshop as an end of year experiment. The project was to use two photos, one that shows through the first when a mask layer is applied. Using the timeline feature you can create a timed sequence with type and a "peep hole" aspect with the mask. what pictures we used was up to us. I decided to do a picture of myself and the picture that would show through is a bunch of smaller pictures of things that are important to me.

Motif and Repeating Pattern

Motif and  Repeating Pattern      These are my two repeating patterns that i made for graphic design. A motif radiates from a center point while a repeating pattern can continue if you connect the two ends.        The scope of he project was to crete our own original patterns after we had done some tutorials and learned the skills. We also all voted on colors to use so that they had some form of uniformity. That taught me how to use the color books with a specific number to find the exact same shade as everyone else.        The day after I made my repeating pattern I went to the gas station and saw the same pattern in black on a door matt! I thought it was quite funny.
